With the ski area Plan de Corones, you’ll find a premium winter sports area only ten kilometres from the farm Niederhäusererhof. 105 perfectly groomed slopes of all difficulty levels leave no wishes unfulfilled during your winter holiday at Plan de Corones. Around 50 percent of all slopes are blue runs – they are suitable even for beginners. A total of six downhill slopes of varying length lead down into the valley. The Plan de Corones ski resort occupies a leading position among the winter sports areas in South Tyrol. The youngest guests can look forward to a kids’ park, where they can safely learn how to ski under expert guidance. The quality of the winter sports area is guaranteed by the fact that Plan de Corones made it into the top 10 at the international ski test.

In the winter months, the alpine highlands of the Pusteria Valley are covered in deep snow. Snowshoe hikes and ski tours take you across pristine snowfields into the peak regions. Within the area of Falzes, a network of trails with a total length of 30 kilometres invites you to enjoy cross-country skiing. The cross-country trail Falzes-Issengo-Molini starts right in the village and leads through snowy forests. Plenty of family fun is guaranteed on the natural toboggan runs on Haidenberg and on the Pertiger Alm. Ice skating enthusiasts may visit the Brunico Ice Stadium, offering a skate rental.
